The triumph of the
Easter morn
Surrounds us everywhere;
The lilies lift their
waxen forms
Into the springtime air.
The sting of death has
disappeared
Because of One who gave
The bread of life to
hungry ones...
A King and yet a slave.
"Because I live, ye
shall live too";
"I shall prepare a place";
These were the words
of life and hope
That all might see His face.
So He who overcame the
world
Without an army's force
Remains today our Easter
hope
To guide our wayward course.
